Sans
titre (écoutant) is Raphaël Van Lerberghe’s answer to Sylvie Eyberg’s
invitation to participate in the 2011 exhibitions à la galerie and à
la galerie au manège in Liège, Belgium. Playing
on the repetition of a phrase that refers to and displaces the specificity of
the site where these images were first shown, this book is designed not only to
be viewed, but also listened to in order to make out a sound around each image.
